Music has long been associated with learning, children grasp their abc and 123 to music, now it's available for all - with the Earworms method it's fun, quick and easy

Earworms Musical Brain Trainer (mbt) is a novel collection of language learning CDs with a revolutionary approach on teaching words and phrases with a background of relaxing music.

Earworms (mbt) method is a brain-based approach that enhances the memory process with a sit back, relax and listen approach. For people who have memory retention problems this could be the ideal system of absorbing a new language.

The product – CD and phrase book is nicely presented and the CD is broken up into different tracks of situations that may be met on holidays.

Earworm Musical Brain Trainer Volume 1 – Tracks:

  • I would like...
  • To order
  • Have you got...?
  • To the airport
  • Numbers, days & time
  • Is there....?
  • Directions
  • Where & what time?
  • Problems, problems!
  • Do you speak English?

Each track is then covered in the phrase book with the English word or phrase, foreign translation and a pronunciation guide.

Just listening to the repetition and pronunciation of the words and phrases when driving or ironing will help you absorb the language without study. The catchy tunes, like the first tune of the day that is repeated whether wanted or not, will by-pass your short term memory and be anchored in your long-term memory.

Researchers at Dartmouth College in the US reported in the March 2005 issue of the journal “Nature” that they had pinpointed the region of the brain, the auditory cortex, where tunes are stored.

Earworms (mbt) were developed for the new language learner, not only as a fun and relaxed way of learning but from years of teaching experience and hundreds of hours of trials and tests. Try it and see, it is relaxing enjoyable and fun. The catchy music really does help you see it as something pleasurable and not a chore. It’s not only an effective way of learning for children but for brains of all ages!

It’s fun, easy revolutionary and you don’t even need a pen and paper. Just pop in the CD and you can start to hear, repeat, understand and use the language of your choice.

So was it effective? The review language CD was in a language that is spoken by me, but it will definitely be recommended to fellow ex-pats who want to learn Spanish. If another language has to be mastered then Earworms would be the first point of contact for the new language course – French and France look out!

Earworms are available from Earwormslearning the price is £14.99 for the CD and phrase book, they are also available as a download for your iPod or MP3 player at £8.99
